Terms of service
FeedOne Foundation
Last updated: June 2, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website feedonefoundation.com and the associated online donation store hosted on Shopify (collectively, the "Site"), operated by FeedOne Foundation ("FeedOne", "we", "us", or "our").
By accessing the Site, creating an account, or making a donation, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About Us
FeedOne Foundation is a charitable organisation based in India that receives donations through the Site to fund and carry out its charitable activities. We accept donations only from donors within India and from Indian sources (see Section 2.2).
- Organisation: FeedOne Foundation
- Registered address: 108/1, Block B7 Main, Safdarjung Enclave, Delhi, 110029
- Email: contact@feedonefoundation.com
- Grievance Officer: Saurabh Kumar (see Section 15)
2. Eligibility
2.1 Age and capacity
By using the Site or making a donation, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are donating on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2.2 Donations from India only
The Site and our donation services are directed only to users in India. You confirm that you are located in India and that the funds you donate are from an Indian source and are not a "foreign contribution" as defined under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 (FCRA). FeedOne is not registered under FCRA and does not accept foreign contributions. If we identify a donation that appears to be a foreign contribution, we may decline or refund it and will not process or retain it.
3. Donations
3.1 Voluntary contributions
All donations made through the Site are voluntary and are made to support FeedOne's charitable purposes. Donations are not payments for goods or services and do not entitle you to any product, service, or benefit in return.
3.2 Use of donations
We use donations to further our charitable activities. Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, donations are unrestricted, and we retain full discretion over how funds are allocated and applied in pursuit of our mission. We may apply funds to the area of greatest need.
3.3 One-time and recurring donations
You may choose to make a one-time donation or, where offered, a recurring donation. By opting into a recurring donation, you authorise FeedOne and our payment processor to charge your selected payment method automatically at the frequency you choose (for example, monthly), until you cancel or the arrangement otherwise ends. You may cancel a recurring donation at any time as described in Section 5.
3.4 Payment processing
Donations are processed by our third-party payment processor, Razorpay. By donating, you agree to Razorpay's applicable terms and authorise it to process your payment. We do not receive or store your full card or other complete payment credentials. Payment processing is subject to Razorpay's own terms and policies, available at razorpay.com.
3.5 Accurate information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when making a donation, and you confirm that you are using a payment method that you are authorised to use and that is funded from an Indian source.
4. Tax Receipts (80G)
Where applicable, we can issue an 80G donation receipt on request. To issue a valid receipt, we require certain details, including your name, address, and Permanent Account Number (PAN). You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for any tax considerations arising from your donation, including any consequences if a donation is later refunded. Issuance of receipts is subject to applicable law and our eligibility at the relevant time.
5. Refunds and Cancellations
Because we rely on donations to carry out our charitable work and apply funds promptly, all donations are generally non-refundable and irrevocable.
We may, at our discretion, consider returning a donation in limited circumstances, such as:
- a genuine error, for example an incorrect amount or a duplicate donation;
- an unauthorised transaction, for example a donation made using a lost or stolen payment method; or
- an accidental recurring donation set up in error.
To request a refund or to cancel a recurring donation, contact us at contact@feedonefoundation.com within 7 (seven) days of the relevant transaction (except in cases of fraud or unauthorised use, which are not subject to this time limit). We may ask you to verify your identity and provide supporting details. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method and processed through Razorpay; the time to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
If a refunded donation was the subject of an 80G receipt, you are responsible for any tax consequences, and we may be required to adjust or withdraw the corresponding receipt.
6. Accounts
The Site uses Shopify-based customer accounts. If you create an account:
- you are responsible for providing accurate information and keeping it up to date;
- you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account; and
- you must notify us promptly at contact@feedonefoundation.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms (see Section 12).
7. Acceptable Use
When using the Site, you agree not to:
- use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
- make donations using stolen, unauthorised, or fraudulent payment methods, or using funds from a foreign source;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, our systems, or other users' accounts;
- interfere with or disrupt the Site, including by introducing malware or attempting to overload or damage it;
- copy, scrape, or misuse content from the Site without permission; or
- impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation.
In addition, you must not host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, store, update, or share — through any account, form, message, or other feature of the Site — any information that:
- belongs to another person and to which you do not have a right;
- is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another's privacy, insulting or harassing, or otherwise unlawful;
- is harmful to a child;
- infringes any patent, trademark, copyright, or other proprietary right;
- deceives or misleads the recipient about the origin of a message, or knowingly communicates information that is false or misleading;
- threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security, or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states, or public order; or

We may remove or disable access to any such information and may report it to the relevant authorities where required by law.

We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, services, or practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.
10. Disclaimers
The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties or representations of any kind, whether express or implied, regarding the Site, including its availability, accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FeedOne and its trustees, officers, employees, and volunteers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or your donation. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
12. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Site or your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or to protect the Site, our donors, or our organisation. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 8, 10, 11, 13, and 14) will continue to apply.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. You agree that the courts at Delhi, India, will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Site, subject to any rights you may have under applicable law.
